About Me

I'm Jay Vyas, the person you're looking for.

A Senior Product Designer working across AI, SaaS, and complex digital products.

Over 7+ years, I've learned to look beyond the interface, into the workflows, systems, trade-offs, and product decisions underneath it. I work across 0→1 ideas and mature products, helping teams simplify complexity and scale without losing clarity.

I care about making complex products feel clear, coherent, and useful.

Testimonial

Words from founders

Jay is as much an artist as he is a web designer. He was able to communicate authority, attention to detail, a clean user experience, and clarity. Anyone who lands on this page will now expect these characteristics from us; which creates the frame for us to offer premium services.

Vanshil Patel
Founder at Nousoft

Jay was very creative and dependable in helping us establish a new brand identity and website for Calldesk. He worked fast, was extremely adaptive and we could reach him for any quick iterations needed.

Johnathan Sanjay
Product Manager at Tempo

Jay was refreshing to work with, he integrated well into our landing page work, emulating the style I had already set perfectly. He picked up on the tone we'd already established and carried it forward without needing much direction from us.

Naren Lokwani
CEO at Frshr Technologies

Working with Jay over the last few months has been a blast. He’s quick, responsive and very collaborative. He always listens and understands what the client is looking for and explores all possibilities to make sure the client is satisfied. 10/10 recommend working with him — if you don’t, then more for me!

Samuel Darwin
CEO at Joy Technologies

Jay designed our new site and absolutely nailed it. He brought great ideas to the table and was super easy to work with throughout the process. Would definitely work with him again!

Nikhil Ranka
Co-founder at Catalyst IQ

Jay was an incredible partner. He worked efficiently and thoughtfully to help us recreate our website, was responsive and collaborative, and produced excellent work at a fraction of the cost and time.

Riddhi Keralia
Founder at Unpause

Jay brought real clarity to a project that needed it. He was thoughtful about the details and easy to work with from start to finish.

Thuy-an Nguyen

Jay understood exactly what we were going for. He moved quickly without cutting corners, and the final result felt polished from day one.

How I work when I own the product end-to-end

01

Discovery & framing

I dig into the problem, the users, and the constraints before touching a screen, so what gets built actually earns its place in the product.

02

Design & prototyping

I move fast between wireframes and high-fidelity flows, testing ideas in real components instead of static comps.

03

Build & ship

As a founder, I stay close to engineering, trading off scope, cost, and speed so what ships matches what was designed.

04

Iterate with data

I watch how people actually use what we built and fold that back into the next version instead of moving on.

FAQ

Curious about how I work?

Mostly by talking early and often.

I'm not a big fan of disappearing for two weeks and coming back with a grand reveal. I'd rather put rough thinking on the table, get challenged, and challenge back.

We figure it out together — it usually leads to a better product and fewer surprises.

A team that cares about making something genuinely good.

I like working with people who are curious, open to debate, close to the product, and comfortable figuring things out together.

Bonus points if the whiteboard gets used a lot.

Definitely not with Figma.

I start by asking a lot of questions and understanding how people actually work. Then I figure out what matters versus what just sounds important.

Once that's clearer, the design part gets a lot easier.

I use it to think faster, explore more directions, and prototype earlier.

It helps me spend less time on repetitive work and more time making the decisions that actually shape the product.
